Cape-Natixis S.G.R. S.p.A.
is a Management Company regulated by Bank of Italy that promotes
and manages closed-end private equity funds. Cape-NatixisԳ
founders are Cimino & Associati Private Equity S.p.A. (Cape),
majority shareholder with 51%, and Natixis Private Equity
International (NPEI), with 49%.
Cape-Natixis launched:
Cape Natexis Private Equity Fund (CNPEF),
approved by Bank of Italy. The Fund has been active since
February 1st, 2004 and has raised 120 million euro that is
investing in buy-out and expansion financing transactions with
companies based in Northern Italy.
Cape Natixis Due,
205 milion euro Fund (CN2). The investors of the Fund are
Natixis Private Equity, other national or international
institutional investors and over a hundred of individual
investors of the funds historically advised by Cape.
The
investment strategy focuses on controlling or influencing stakes
in profitable small-medium size firms based in northern Italy
and preferably in the North East of the country. Target
companies typically face generational succession issues, operate
in traditional manufacturing industries and have revenues
between 10 and 50 million euro. Investments are structured using
prudent debt-to-equity ratios.
